Traveling the Philippines means exploring an archipelago of more than 7,000 islands, vast and endless. Choosing where to settle for a few days, a few weeks, or even months is never easy. Luckily, advice picked up along the way always points you in the right direction. And here, the verdict was unanimous: Siargao. It’s the kind of place you never want to leave. I had to see it for myself. It also happened to be home to a young coworking space, Coco Space, which made it the perfect spot to settle in.
On the way, I stopped in Cebu, a city with a rich and fascinating history. Then the island of Bohol welcomed me for a few weeks, with its paradise beaches, endemic wildlife, and unique nature. A stop that left me with just one desire: to discover even more of the Philippines.
