After spending three months in Vietnam, I had to leave the country to renew my visa. Cambodia quickly appeared as a destination of choice. Or rather, Siem Reap and the wonders of Angkor Wat.
I didn’t take the time to explore the whole country (with the rainy season fast approaching), but I did spend three wonderful weeks in Siem Reap. Unlike the hurried tourists who rush through the temples in a single weekend, I took my time. Time to get lost in the jungle, to admire every stone, to see Angkor Wat at sunrise and again at sunset… I also explored this city, which hides many treasures!
Here you’ll find my itinerary, my discoveries, and my advice for a beautiful Cambodian stopover in digital nomad mode.
