The kitchen is reasonably well equipped, if a little worn in places: two large stovetops, plates, cups, drinking water available (though stored outdoors, so not chilled), two fridges, and shelving. Each room has its own numbered locker outside and a compartment in the fridge, so you can store your things safely in shared spaces. Coffee is provided every morning.

One real downside: ground-floor rooms don’t get much natural light, since their only window faces a busy hallway, so curtains pretty much have to stay closed. Beyond that, rooms are fairly comfortable. I tried both a simple private room (single bed, desk, shelf, shared bathroom, always clean, though the concrete-based bed frame made for a firmer mattress) and the larger private room with ensuite bathroom, more spacious, with a curtain-separated shower (worth knowing if you’re sharing as a couple), and a noticeably comfier bed. It’s not hotel-level comfort, but you feel good there, and you won’t spend much time in your room anyway with so much going on.
